500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Overview

Our 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (TTC) is an advanced-level program, accredited by Yoga Alliance, aimed at transforming yoga practitioners into expert instructors. This program includes foundational 200-hour content and deepens expertise in advanced practices, teaching techniques, and yoga philosophy.

Module 1: Advanced Asana Practice (150 hours)

Master over 75 postures with an emphasis on advanced alignment, therapeutic applications, and hands-on adjustments. Focus on arm balances, inversions, and refining your anatomical understanding of complex asanas.

Module 2: Pranayama & Subtle Body Practices (30 hours)

Explore advanced pranayama, including Nadi Shodhana, Bhastrika, and Kapalabhati. Dive into the practices of bandhas and mudras to master energy control and deepen awareness of the subtle body systems.

Module 3: Meditation & Mindfulness (30 hours)

Engage in advanced meditation styles—silent sittings, guided visualizations, chakra-focused practices. Learn the art of mindfulness and its therapeutic applications in yoga sessions.

Module 4: Yoga Philosophy & Scriptures (60 hours)

Dive into timeless wisdom from the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Yoga Sutras, Upanishads, and Bhagavad Gita. Explore their relevance in contemporary life, and lead discussions on spiritual integration and inner inquiry.

Module 5: Advanced Anatomy & Physiology (40 hours)

Delve deeper into human anatomy with a focus on injury prevention and the biomechanics of advanced postures. Study joint safety, muscular dynamics, and physiological responses in therapeutic contexts.

Module 6: Teaching Methodology & Professional Development (50 hours)

Master the craft of sequencing, advanced cueing, and class theming. Learn strategies for inclusive teaching, adapting to student needs, and building your yoga business through ethical and professional standards.

Module 7: Specialized Practices (40 hours)

Train in therapeutic yoga, prenatal practices, and yoga tailored for various populations. Explore the use of props, trauma-informed approaches, and integrative teaching styles across multiple yoga disciplines.

Module 8: Practicum & Teaching Experience (100 hours)
